Don’t get confused with the delivery system being the cause for all good or all evil.
By definition, a hypodermic needle is a hollow needle commonly used with a syringe to inject substances into the body or extract fluids from it.
The same package that contains a fresh, sterile needle can be the delivery system for life-saving insulin as easily as it can be for body poisoning heroin. There is little to do with what it is and where it came from. It has a lot to do with who actually gets their hands on it and what their intent is.
Every day, I manage media in the traditional sense with over-the-air radio broadcasting and the non-traditional sense with publishing podcasts, videos, and articles on the internet. While there seems to be a glut of lousy programming overwhelming both delivery systems, there is actually a much closer balance being released and served than you think.
The real difference in your perception is based on whether you are expecting a life-saving drug or a poisonous drug. And alternatively, whether you really want the one you say you are requesting.
So which is it? Do you want a unit of insulin or a shot of heroin?
