If you want to be a prolific swimmer, you should probably not choose to live in the desert.
This one is well beyond obvious. Or is it?
Of course, you cannot learn to swim in an actual desert devoid of pools of water. You cannot have much of a rodeo if you do not own horses or cows. You will never be a world class athlete if you do not put in the time to train.
But all is not necessarily lost. Desert dwellers are not stuck with the reality of never having the chance to learn how to swim. They just need to take a trip to a lake or the ocean. Or just have a pool built right where they are.
The real point of this lesson is to realize you will never get anywhere you say you want to be in life if you do not put yourself in a position to be there.
If the conditions are not adequate in the place where you currently are for your plan of action, and you have no desire to change the bulk of your plan, then change your location to a more suitable place.
If you want to learn how to swim, just make sure you have access to a body of water easy enough to travel to and large enough for you to travel through.
How you come about those sufficient conditions can be as easy as you can make it.
