A Quick Word On Resourcefulness

Resourcefulness is the ability to make the most of the resources you have on hand. Whether you are living in a season of abundance or a season of lack, it is only us a season, just this way at this particular moment in time.

Resourceful people can make good use of abundance and set aside plenty of extras to use for times of upcoming lack and can manage whatever they have to work with during lack and ration extremely well until an upswing to abundance begins.

Many people believe they are resourceful, but until you see someone put the skill into action, it is hard to grade just how capable they are.

If you are looking to hire, you will find the best results come from a person you get the proper time to observe. This is why the best employee are often recruited from a lower level of an organization they are already a part of, but don’t let this be an excuse not to take a chance on an outsider that shows promise.

If you are looking to make a move and consider yourself a resourceful person, you can usually command your own price for whatever it is you do. Usually.

There are two keys to this. Not being too resourceful to whomever you are currently working for so they don’t sabotage your efforts to advance, and having enough pizzazz to draw just enough attention. If you can pull that off, you’ll be in a good position for consideration for just about anything you think you meet qualifications.
